I wonder if other people are as sensitive to touch as I am. Like at the Cowboy Bebop movie tonight, I was sitting next to Julie and a few times she put her elbow up against mine. Nothing implicated, but I'm always left wondering if she's as aware of the contact as I am. Julia, in my English class, has done the same thing several times. Surely they can feel our arms against each other, so what are they thinking? Nothing, I tell myself, but I know I'd like it to mean something. Is that pathetic or just normal? And what is going through their heads?
