Second, some good news from Iraq:
The two sons of Saddam Hussein targeted by allied forces, Uday and Qusay, were killed today in an extended firefight with American troops in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the United States military said.Hopefully this will remove some of the veneer of invulnerability that Saddam has over there and eventually weaken the resistance movement. We can—and should—attack the intelligence that took us into war, but now that we're there, the left shouldn't lose focus on making sure things get sorted out somehow in Iraq and maybe some day in Afghanistan. If for no other reason than helping improve the quality of life for everyone in a society is what the ideology stands for.
