A sad day for Funyons, man

Tommy Chong, sagacious innovator in the field of pot comedies, was sentenced on Sept. 11, 2003, to nine months in prison for selling "paraphenalia" over the internet, the first victim of John Ashcroft's "Operation Pipe Dreams" and "Operation Head Hunter." Despite being a registered dealer of glass pipes (and NOT glass pipe "accessories"), Chong got taken down, I'm assuming, because he supported the terrorists, like all those commercials say. I wish Jim Brewer had been at Chong's sentencing to stand up and say, "Fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, I'm outta here."
