Birthdays abound

I went to three (3) birthday parties this weekend. From talking to other party-goers, I gathered that almost every one of them was attending multiple b-day parties this weekend. We all wondered: Why February? Turns out that nine months before February is May. Lots of people get married right after they graduate from college, which means there are also lots of anniversaries around that time. That's pure speculation, of course, but it makes sense. Although, it does contradict the old addage that when it's cold outside, people tend to stay in and do it more. Hmm . . . maybe this is just a southern thing.

Anyways, this sequence is pretty funny. It's from Brenda's birthday barbecue on Saturday. Someone deep fried a turkey and seasoned it with what I think was some kind of Indian spice mixture. Damn good.
