Amazing!

Hey hey! Thanks to everyone who voted for Ben Heath and helped get your friends to do the same. Ben won with 59% of the vote!! I thought for sure the frat contingent would overshadow all our campaigning, but this time the grassroots campaign delivered. Thanks again.

After all my whining, I'm surprised Ben actually pulled it out. I think the paper, with its assurance of quality leadership, will also be the stronger for this campaign. The campaign revealed some areas of discontent among SG and other student groups over our University coverage. For all that Brian Ferguson wasn't qualified for the job, he did manage to make this important, albeit not TOO important, displeaseure a central issue. Ben will do a good job striking the balance between relevant and newsworthy coverage and keeping student groups happy, I trust.

Also, the first batch of New York pics have been edited and uploaded. I need to write the text of the post, though, and I'm a little too drunk and tired to do that right now.
