I don't follow the Israel/Palestine situation too closely, if for no other reason than it would consume my life to fully grasp it. Thomas Friedman's column in the NYTimes, though, echoes most of my vague, dispassionate feelings toward the conflict. Anyone who's better informed, feel free to chime in.
