This is ... I don't even know what to think

Okay, so this is now several degrees away from the actual source, but take a look.

Brad Delong commenting on an e-mail sent to him by author Rick Pearlstein after Pearlstein had just heard Seymour Hersh speak:

"Either Seymour Hersh is insane, or we have an administration that needs to be removed from office not later than the close of business today. The scariest part: "[Hersh] said he had seen all the Abu Ghraib pictures. He said, 'You haven't begun to see evil...' then trailed off. He said, 'horrible things done to children of women prisoners, as the cameras run.' He looked frightened."

There's a lot more, all of it very disturbing, so go judge for yourself.

UPDATE: If nothing else, this looks like some encouraging news out of Iraq: "Iraq cleric 'calls for new start'". I got that from TPM, where I also saw this, which is just pathetic.
