Darkhorse desktop
After searching through photographs of all the usual suspects from my Hawaii trip — flowers, rainbows, etc. — this rather simple shot has become one of my favorites.
I like it so much because of all the little details that align themselves perfectly, which are better viewed as a desktop. The best is the glider off in the distance, seen in the upper left-hand corner. I took this picture quickly, without much time spent composing the shot, because I liked the way the shape of the tent in the foreground mimicked the shape of the hill. When I came across it later, I was surprised and pleased to see how well things had lined up. This is from North Shore, by the way.
