It's official: Writing for a livin'

Well, it may be Temple, and it may be the soft-hitting Daily Telegram, but I will be a full-time reporter come Monday. I'll start on the cops beat and as a fill-in for the other reporters, but I'm being groomed to take over the city beat in November. Not great, but not shabby either. The first step.

And, hey, I'm writing for a living and covering something new every day. Nothing wrong with that.
