Like Kramer's Junior Mint ("Something blocked the growth. Something ... from above."), this struck me as more than coincidence: The Google ad at the bottom of my previous comment thread on the meaning of life read something to the effect of "The Ultimate Guide to Doing It..."

That's pretty funny, I thought as I closed the window. I should post something about it.

But when I went back into the comment box, the ad was gone. I searched, but to no avail. The meaning of life, slipped through my fingers, and not even Google could find it again.
