The weeks to come

Upcoming events at the Alamo Draft House that I plan to attend in the near future, also known as, reason #1302 why Austin is better than Temple:

Fri and Sat, June 10 and 11, 7 and 9.45 p.m. — Homestar Runner creators live in person. (All four shows sold out a week in advance)

"The guy who makes funny noises with his mouth from the Police Academy movies," Michael Winslow, doing live stand-up, Sat., June 25, 7 p.m., $20. (Yes, $20, and Danny and I are going.)

The Flaming Lips’s Zaireeka, with the Rolling Roadshow: "an experimental album consisting of four separate CDs designed to be played at the same time but on different stereo systems. This summer the Rolling Roadshow is blaring the music through four different digital sound systems and complementing the aural intensity with unique visuals created just for the experience," Sat. , July 23, 8 p.m., $15, weed not included. (I need someone to hit this up with me, since Danny "hates" the Flaming Lips.)

Who wants to join?
